Holy Family parish church

G&J Engineering limited were awarded the project:  Holy Family parish church, Dun Laoghaire

This project included the installation of a new heating system, replacing an existing system of one pipe radiators and modifications to the plantroom pipework.

This project continues G&J engineering’s long and proud tradition of installations in houses of worship, with over 30 completed to date. This project was completed within the specified timeframe and with minimal disruption.

 

UCD Nova Lab

G&J Engineering limited were awarded the project:  UCD Nova labs 1 & 2          

The scope of works of this project included the removal of redundant equipment.

This project includes the Installation of vulcathene chemical waste pipework, emergency eye wash & shower and alterations to the HWS/CWS/MWS/HWSR distribution pipework.

Bon Secour Hospital

G&J Engineering limited were awarded the project:  Energy centre refurbishment

This project presented a number of challenging aspects, which included a seamless changeover of the existing system to the new plantroom equipment. Throughout the project services could not be interrupted.

The scope of works of this project included the removal of over 25 tonnes of redundant equipment including existing 3no. 19m vertical flues, 3no. cast iron sectional boilers, 2no. Calorifier, redundant pipework & pumps.

The new system includes the installation of 2.1 megawatts of condensing boilers, cascades, air dirt hydraulic separator, degasser, automatic dosing system, side stream filtration, circulating pumps, vertical flue stack, 2no. ACV’s, alterations to LPHW distribution pipework, alterations to existing HWS/HWSR/CWS, gas pipework alterations, gas detection, controls, MCC panels, inhibitor dosing, insulation, balancing and commissioning.

The scope of works included replacing existing Cast iron sectional boiler, alterations to LPHW distribution pipework, installation of 4no. 150KW stainless steel heat exchanger boilers, Gas pipework alterations, Air dirt separator, Boss X pot, Circulating pumps, Insulation, labelling, Inhibitor Dosing of system, testing & Commissioning.
This project was completed within the specified timeframe with minimal disruption to the building services.

G&J Engineering limited were awarded the project of replacing existing 6no. floor mounted Gas fired boilers.

This project was completed within the specified timeframe with minimal disruption to the building staff.

The scope of works included Isolation of existing services, Removal & disposal of existing boilers and flues, Installation of 6no. 110 kw high efficiency stainless steel heat exchanger boilers, Cascade, Circulating pumps, Flues, alterations to existing distribution pipework, Insulation, labelling, testing & commissioning.

United Drug

G&J Engineering limited were awarded the project of replacing existing 2no. floor mounted Gas fired boilers.

This project was completed within the specified timeframe with minimal disruption to the building staff. These essential works required a contract crane lift to remove the existing Gas boilers & to position the new Gas boilers within a roof plantroom.

The scope of works included Isolation of existing services, Removal & disposal of existing boilers and flues, Removal & disposal of existing 100mm Gas main pipework, Installation of 2no. 400kw high efficiency Rendamax boilers, Circulating pumps, Flues, Spirocross Magnetic strainer, 100mm roof Gas main replacement, alterations to existing distribution pipework, Insulation, labelling, testing & commissioning.
