After a successful tendering process  G&J Engineering were awarded the project of replacing existing storage tanks  in the prestigious Alexandra college.

This project was completed within the specified timeframe with minimal disruption to the College.

The scope of works  included Isolation of existing services, Removal & disposal of existing Galvanised cold water storage tanks, Installation of Tanking, Builders works, 2no. format 30 sectional CWS insulated tanks, 1no. format 30 sectional  MWS break tank, twin booster pump, alterations to existing CWS/MWS distribution pipework, Insulation, testing & commissioning.

This project included Isolation of existing services, Installation of Gas distribution pipework, Gas detection, Calorifier, alterations to CWS/HWS /HWSR distribution pipework ,insulation,  testing & Commissioning.

This project included Isolation of existing services, Installation of destratification fans, Unit heaters, alterations to LPHW distribution pipework , Controls, insulation,  testing & Commissioning.

This project included Isolation of existing services, Glycol containment & disposal, Installation of 2no. Chillers , Buffer vessel, CHW Circulating pumps, Controls, CHW distribution pipework, alterations to CWS/HWS /HWSR distribution pipework,  insulation & cladding, Sanitaryware, Soils & wastes,  Air conditioning, Medical Gas, Ventilation, testing & commissioning.

This project included Isolation of existing services, Removal & disposal of existing sanitaryware, Installation of LPHW distribution pipework, radiators, alterations to existing CWS/HWS distribution pipework, sanitaryware, tiling, Soils & wastes, testing & commissioning

This project included Isolation of existing services, Removal & disposal of existing sanitaryware, Installation of Sanitaryware, alterations to existing CWS/HWS distribution pipework, testing & commissioning.

This project included  Installation of HDPE distribution from existing services, Insulation, testing & commissioning.

This project included Isolation of existing services, Removal & disposal of existing sanitaryware, Installation of LPHW distribution pipework, LST radiators, alterations to existing CWS/HWS/MWS distribution pipework, sanitaryware, Soils & wastes, Insulation, Ventilation, testing & commissioning,  O&M Manual , As built drawings.

This project included Isolation of existing services, Removal & disposal of existing Boilers, Installation of Heating centre, LPHW distribution pipework, Controls , Insulation, testing & commissioning , O&M Manual.

This project included Installation of radiant panels, LPHW distribution pipework, Controls , HWS/HWSR/CWS/MWS distribution pipework, Insulation, testing & commissioning, O&M Manual , As built drawings.

G&J Engineering limited after a successful tendering process have been appointed main contractor to install the first commercial air source heat pump for heat source at the prestigious UCD Smurfit Business School, Carysfort  Avenue, Blackrock.

As part of UCD ongoing commitment to energy saving this project comprises of retrofitting to an existing building including isolation of the existing heating centre and disposal of existing equipment, Installation of Heating centre, High efficiency air to water heat pump, High efficiency Gas condensing boiler,   LPHW distribution pipework, Gas distribution pipework, Gas detection, twin Circulating pumps, pressurisation unit, 1500 litre Buffer vessel, Heat meter,  water meters, MCC Panel, Electrics, Controls , Builders works, Insulation, testing & commissioning, O&M Manual , As built drawings, system fully integrated and controlled by campus BMS.

This project included Isolation of existing services, Removal & disposal of existing cast iron sectional Boiler, Installation of sectional Cast iron boiler, LPHW distribution pipework , testing & commissioning.

This project included Installation of heat recovery unit, controls, ventilation, sanitaryware, testing & commissioning,  O&M Manual, As built drawings.
