G&J Engineering completed the Combined heat and power (CHP) installation at the prestigious Blackrock college in conjunction with Low Carbon solutions.
In conjunction with the design team lead by Powertherm solutions, G&J Engineering have begun an upgrade to the heating system at the world renowned Smurfit building school. The project includes the installation of a new heating centre and complete boiler house re-fit. The upgrade is of the controls, the mechanical and the electrical installations. We are proud to yet again work with UCD and on such an innovative design. The project was completed in November 2010
G&J Engineering were chosen to install BSS (Ireland) ltd’s new boiler house. The installation was to be a showcase of BSS ltd’s own materials and products.
G&J Engineering recently completed the installation of a new heating system at the prestigious Malahide Golf club. A new complete boiler house and zoned controls system was installed to increase efficiency and ease of use. A Modulating condensing boiler was used in conjunction with weather compensated Cylon controls.
G&J Engineering have installed a new heating system, consisting of over 60 Radiators and new Boilerhouse. The Church is a beautiful historical building dating back to 1960. The project is a particularly interesting one due to the beauty of the building and with the order’s request that the church remaining open during the installation for masses and weddings. Design team of Homan O Brien consultant engineers and James Cummins Architects.
G&J Engineering have begun the new mechanical services works at Finglas credit union Our installation will include new air conditioning units, roof mounted air handling units and a new heating and plumbing system. The project is designed by METEC consultant engineers and is programmed for completion in mid 2011.

G&J Engineering have completed the 5th floor Canteen refurbishment for the DETI for the OPW. This project design team was headed by Callaghan consultant engineers.
G&J Engineering begin this project in March 2011. The mechanical project value is in excess of half a million euro and provides many unique challenges. The project includes a complete services upgrade to the existing building and to the proposed new extension. The project is due for completion and handover in August 2012. We look forward to working with the Design team lead by Keaveny engineering services.
Heating installation. Renewal of 50mm Lphw heating mains running the length of the factory and the installation of new Thermoair unit heaters in the main production areas of this Swords Factory. Works had to be scheduled out of hours to allow Siemens production to continue unaffected.
The project was completed on time and in budget.

G&J Engineering have just completed a complex chilled water installation at Connaught house. The project involved altering existing 250mm pipework and installing new controls to the existing cooling system, plus the retro fitting of variable speed drives to all of the existing pumps., the insulation and re commissioning of the cooling system for this prestigious Dublin office block.

Scoil Aodan Naofa, Carnew County Wicklow
We were happy have completed the upgrade of Scoil Aodan Naofa, Carnew county Wicklow, within budget and considerably ahead of schedule. The project commenced on July 05th 2010 and the school opened its doors bright and early on August 31st 2010 with all mechanical, civil and electrical works completed.
The school was built in 1958 and its structure posed some unique problems during the project.
